I have no idea if this blog will still stand after my graduation, but obviously, I'm writing on a summer day, so Sir ROE hasn't deleted it yet.
Blogging is one of my favorite things to do aside from reading and watching too much romantic comedy movies and amazing series. Even if Weebly was a requirement in English, it never felt like a pressure to me since I am in love with it.
I hope that you won't feel burdened with blogging because this space can help you balance your emotions. You can write any experiences no matter how sad, painful, scary and awesome it is. You can even write about this girl/boy you like, but not too much because love is already an overused topic.
ON UNIVERSITY CHOICES/
Enjoy your high school life. Don't feel too pressured in making it to the honors. Take exams in different opportunities so you can have a lot of choices, don't focus on one. When I was in the beginning of fourth year, my only goal was UP. It's the only university that I wanted to take an exam to. But what if I only took an exam there and I didn't pass, where would have I gone?
ON YOUR FUTURE/
That's why my best advice is to always concoct a wide variety of choices and decide later where you really want to be. Sure enough, Margo Roth Spiegelman would probably look at me like a paper person always thinking about my future, but trust me in this, we can be a free spirit any time we want, but we only have one shot at life, so of course, we have to ensure that we'll be happy and content in the coming years.
ON CHOOSING YOUR COURSE/
If you want to choose both passion and profession, be a LiA-Comm student like me where you will major in two courses for six years in college. But you know, choosing a course isn't really a big big deal, if you ask me as long as you're certain of what you want. If you're not certain though, seek your friend's help, your teacher's or a counselor, or God's. Trust me in this: do not believe in miracles, believe in Divine Intervention. It worked for me.
Personally, love is something I'm not good at. All I can say is, alright, try going out with people, but if you think it's not really something you see that will last a long time, don't hold onto it longer. I've always thought that I have commitment problems, but later on, I realized that I don't want to waste my time in a relationship that I can't see clearly. I'm not being a snob, and sure I'm not a popular girl who gets all the guys. But come on! We all deserve to choose who we want.
Keep the friends that has been there through the hard times. I'm lucky to have eight best friends who never leave me behind. When you have a problem, you can count on friends to seek an advice from.
Everything you do, every decisions you make, family must be the first factor to come in your mind. Even if you hate them at times, even if they compare you to your relatives. Be great in your own way.
I'm one of the most selfish people in the world, and I have no problem with that. Always love yourself before anyone else, because at the end of the day, when all else fails, you have only you to make things right.
Enjoy your lives, Seniors. High school wasn't particular great to me in my early years, but the ending parts were the best. Hold your head high, but learn to bend it down sometimes.
